A company manager has a crucial role within the rS applications-environment. Users with company management access will have access to the MGT platform.
In this platform it is possible to
- manage the user-access for the Renta Solutions applications across your company
- delegate user management to other types of manager
- access an overview of locations and sites using our platforms
- view invoices and update finance information
- more to come ...
To complete this process, an rS-user with access to the account you want to register a company manager for is a prerequisite. If you don’t have the correct access, please create a ticket here or e-mail support@mobeyond.eu.
Accounts with a company manager
When a user logs into the rS applications environment via authentication.rentasolutions.org, they land on the rS Homepage. When an account already has a company manager, that homepage looks like this:
If you don’t know who your company manager is or believe the wrong person was added as a company manager, please create a ticket here or e-mail customersupport@rentasolutions.org.
Removing all company managers, will make the red box shown in the image below appear again, allowing you to re-enter a new company manager.
Accounts without a company manager
When a user logs into the rS applications environment via authentication.rentasolutions.org, they land on the rS Homepage. When a company manager is not added, that homepage looks like this:
Step 1: Registration of a company manager
Clicking the link in the red box, will lead the user to a screen where they can enter the data of the company manager. That screen looks like this:
After completing the information, the user can click the orange “Register” button in the right corner of the screen. If the data was correctly processed, the user will be shown the following screen:
As long as the company manager has not completed their registration (step 2 – explained below), the red box will keep appearing in the home screen of others users linked to the account.
Step 2: Confirmation of a company manager
The correct registration of a company manager will prompt our system to send the registered company manager an e-mail to confirm their registration. That e-mail looks like this:
When the registered company manager clicks the orange button in the e-mail to confirm their registration, they will be shown the following screen:
On this screen, they can adapt their information if needed. Job title and e-mail are uneditable fields. If these are incorrect, the registered company manager needs to click on the button “I am not a Company Manager”. Clicking that button, will restart the process from the beginning of “Step 1” and make the red box appear again until another user starts the registration process again.
After checking all the data, if the data is correct and the registered company manager indeed has the right authority within the organisation, they can click the orange button “Yes, I am a Company Manager”.
The registered company manager will then be prompted again to confirm that they indeed have the correct rights within the organisation:
After confirming a second time, the screen will show that the company manager was added.
The confirmation of the company manager will lead to the red box in the homescreen of all other users linked to that account disappearing.
An e-mail will also be sent to all users of that account to confirm a new company manager was added and identifying who that company manager is:
The process has now been completed, and the registered and confirmed company manager can now access the MGT application.
