How to add a company manager

Company manager


A company manager has a crucial role within the rS applications-environment. Users with company management access will have access to the MGT platform.
In this platform it is possible to:

  • Manage the user-access for the Renta Solutions applications across your company
  • Delegate user management to other types of manager 
  • Access an overview of locations and sites using our platforms
  • View invoices and update finance information
  • More to come ...


Accounts with a company manager

When a user logs into the rS applications environment via our login page, they land on the rS Homepage. 

When an account already has a company manager, the homepage looks like this: 



The current company manager is able to create additional company managers through MGT, following this manual.


Note: Removing all company managers, will make the red box (shown in the image below) appear, allowing you to re-enter a new company manager.


Accounts without a company manager

When a user logs into the rS applications environment via our login page, they land on the rS Homepage.  

When a company manager is not yet configured, that homepage looks like this: 


Step 1: Registration of a company manager

Clicking the link in the red box, will lead the user to a screen where they can enter the details of the company manager they wish to add.

After completing the required information, the user can click the orange “Register” button in the right bottom corner of the screen. 

If the data was correctly processed following notification will be shown:

It is now up to the company manager to complete step 2. 
If step 2 isn't completed, the red box will be shown again and the process must be restarted.  

 

Step 2: Confirmation of a company manager

The correct registration of a company manager will prompt our system to send the registered company manager an e-mail to confirm their registration.
Please inform your manager to look for below email in their mailbox, coming from noreply@rentasolutions.org

The orange button in the e-mail must be clicked to open the webpage where the registration can be completed.

Note: Make sure to sign in with the same email as the email that was registered as company manager. Otherwise the below page won't open.

On this screen, they can adapt their information if needed. Job title and e-mail are uneditable fields. If these are incorrect, the registered company manager needs to click on the button “I am not a Company Manager”. 

Clicking that button, will restart the process from the beginning of “Step 1” and make the red box appear again until a user starts the registration process again. 


When all information is correct click the orange button: “Yes, I am a Company Manager”


The registered company manager will now be prompted again to confirm that they indeed have the correct rights within the organisation:

After confirming a second time, the screen will show that the company manager was added.

An e-mail will be sent to all users of the organisation to confirm a new company manager was added and identifying who that company manager is:

The process has now been completed. 

The registered and confirmed company manager now has access to the MGT application.
